The Broadmoor's East Course
One Round of Golf
The Broadmoor's East Course is known for its wide, tree-lined fairways and expansive greens. Links magazine voted the Broadmoor a Top 25 Golf Resort of the World in its Silver Anniversary edition.
With its challenging terrain and amazing mountain vistas, The East Course is ranked among the best golf courses in the country. Since the large trees can alter your shots and the putting greens difficult to read, the best tip we can offer for those taking on this open course is to remember that putts break away from the mountains.
Round of Golf at Payne's Valley Golf Course
Big Cedar Lodge Payne's Valley Golf Course, the 19TH Wonder of the World™, is an homage to Ozarks-native and World Golf Hall of Fame member, Payne Stewart. It is the first public-access golf course designed by 82-time PGA TOUR winner, Tiger Woods and his golf course design firm, TGR Design.
Through the creation of Payne's Valley Golf Course™, Tiger Woods and Big Cedar Lodge offers a course where players of all skill levels are invited to come together to experience the breathtaking Ozark Mountain Landscape. Enjoy the game's pristine water features, large fairways and greens, and spectacular 19th hole—the Big Rock at Payne’s Valley™.
A ride on the wild side
Step aboard our comfortable, open-air trams and explore the beauty of Dogwood Canyon! This adventure includes a two-hour narrated tour of the park as you pass by bluffs, waterfalls, and other scenic views. Plus, you’ll cross the Arkansas border and enter the Bison-Elk Country pasture, encountering the largest residents at Dogwood Canyon.

- The 1800s-style Hope Wedding Chapel
- Thunder Falls Crossing
- The Glory Hole, a magnificent blue-green pool where you can feed some of the largest trout in the park
Cedar Creek Spa at Big Cedar Lodge
Visit the award-winning, 18,000-square-foot Cedar Creek Spa & Salon for a day of rest, relaxation, and self-care. Complete with hand-hewn timber ceilings, natural stone floors, handcrafted stained-glass accents and antique-style chandeliers, the spa creates a lush and tranquil environment for a day of pampering. A grand double staircase will lead you to one of 11 luxuriously appointed treatment rooms, each featuring its own fireplace. The full-service salon is also equipped with massaging pedicure chairs and plush sofas.

Charcuterie & Wood Burning Class
Join us for drinks, food, and fun. Choose a design and create a board using wood-burning tools to make your very own masterpiece. Learn how to assemble a charcuterie board using a variety of meat, cheese, and veggies. We will provide the wine so all you have to do is come for a good time.

Self-Guided Walk
Explore the Top of the Rock Lost Canyon and Nature Trail in this dramatic 2.5-mile tour. Follow a beautiful trail created to highlight stunning rock formations, waterfalls, and lake views. The winding trail will also take you through a marvelous cave where you can purchase refreshments at the Bat Bar as well as the scenic overlook where you can step out on our skybridge for a breathtaking view of the Ozarks. Attendees will also receive free admission to the Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum.

Rock Climbing
Garden of the Gods
Looking for a new challenge in a new environment? Grab your family and experience the Vertical Challenge at The Broadmoor. Join your skilled climbing guide and spend time rock climbing at one of the local climbing hot spots Garden of the Gods. During this experience, you will learn basic knots, climbing safety, and belay techniques. Then, your guide will help you conquer one of our many challenging natural routes. This experience has been designed for the new climber or the climber who wants to transition from the indoor gym to real rock. All equipment is provided; all you need to bring is a sense of adventure and a willingness to have fun.
- 5 Hour Guided Climb (door-to-door)
- All guests will be required to sign a release

Gold Camp
Have you ever wondered what The Broadmoor looks like from a thousand feet above? A ride with spectacular vistas and a gradual downhill slope allows participants to enjoy all the natural beauty around them. After riding the historic Gold Camp Road, riders merge onto a classic single-track downhill. This ride is a perfect fit for one wanting to see a variety of Colorado’s terrain.
- Minimum Height of 5’1” and Maximum weight of 250 lbs.
- 3 Hour Guided Ride (door-to-door)
- All guests will be required to sign a release
Broadmoor Hunt
Spouses/Partners Only
The Broadmoor Hunt utilizes your phone’s camera and video functions in order to complete challenges around the hotel premises. Some of these challenges include taking a picture or video while some challenges require more interaction. Uncover the history that surrounds you as you follow clues and solve riddles that make The Broadmoor a unique functioning museum. The Broadmoor Hunt allows guests to challenge one another as individual teams or work together to accomplish the 35+ challenges spanning all corners of the resort. See what the competition is up to with a live feed leaderboard and real time feedback from Broadmoor Outfitters staff. This is the perfect way to explore the beauty and history that is The Broadmoor.

Can I participate in more than one activity, such as during my Saturday afternoon leisure time?
While those events will not be covered by Curi, we will gladly assist you in making arrangements.
Are child(ren) activities a covered expense?
Activities for children will not be covered; however, if you prefer to have expenses paid in advance by Curi and offset during the expense report process, that can be arranged.
Are there any onsite childcare options?
Big Cedar Lodge offers Kids Adventure Club and private childcare. Arrangements are not covered by Curi, but we will gladly assist in making reservation.
