Big Cedar Lodge: 612 Devil’s Pool Road, Ridgedale, MO 65739

At Big Cedar Lodge, natural beauty and conservation is celebrated and showcased through everything we do. From nature-inspired accommodations and immersive wildlife attractions to breathtaking views. Johnny Morris hopes to encourage visitors and their families to connect with the nature that surrounds them and learn more about conservation, just as he has done his whole life.

Important: You will check in at Big Cedar Lodge Guest Registration. The resort has shuttles available to transport you to your cabin as needed. You can find a copy of the resort map with the locations of our meetings and events noted here.

Travel

Please secure travel arrangements for you (and your spouse/partner/family, if applicable) via airfare, or please plan to drive if within a 3-hour radius of the venue. 

Airport Options: 

Springfield-Branson National Airport (SGF) is approximately 60 miles/1-hour from Big Cedar Lodge. SGF’s website shows direct flights to and from CLT, ORD, DEN, and ATL.

Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) is approximately 100 miles/2-hours from Big Cedar Lodge. This airport offers direct flights to and from ATL, CLT, ORD, DFW, DEN, DTW, MSP, BNA, SLC, and DCA.

Due to the distance between the airport and the resort, we will work on gathering traveler’s flight information to arrange for a group shuttle when possible. Please email your flight arrangements as soon as you have booked them to Teri.Kidd@curi.com.

Ground Transportation from the Airport:

• Car Rental: SGF and XNA have several rental car agencies located at the airport.
• Shuttle Service: Big Cedar Lodge offers Airport Service from SGF. Reservations are required at least 10 days prior to arrival. Please contact Teri.Kidd@curi.com for shuttle service reservations; we would like to group as many travelers as possible for shuttle service so having your flight details as early as possible is appreciated.
• Shuttle Service from XNA can be arranged via charter transportation. Please contact Teri.Kidd@curi.com to arrange shuttle service reservations.
• Uber/Lyft/Taxi is available at SGF.

Reimbursements

Expense Reimbursements: Expense reports will be emailed at the end of the event.

• All attendees, spouse/partner and families will be included in scheduled meal functions.
• Curi will reimburse travel costs for Curi Board Members and Curi Management such as airfare, ground transportation, mileage reimbursement, airport parking, and meals during travel.
• Curi will cover the cost of one resort activity for you and your spouse/partner; the activity must be requested via the registration form and some restrictions apply. Any additional costs unrelated to resort activities (such as retail) will not be covered.
• Activities for children will not be covered; however, they will be paid in advance by Curi and offset during the expense report process if preferred.
• Airfare for spouse/partner and/or families is a non-reimbursable cost.
