The Broadmoor's East Course

One Round of Golf

The Broadmoor's East Course is known for its wide, tree-lined fairways and expansive greens. Links magazine voted the Broadmoor a Top 25 Golf Resort of the World in its Silver Anniversary edition.East Golf Mini Course 1East Golf Mini Course 2 With its challenging terrain and amazing mountain vistas, The East Course is ranked among the best golf courses in the country. Since the large trees can alter your shots and the putting greens difficult to read, the best tip we can offer for those taking on this open course is to remember that putts break away from the mountains.

Round of Golf at Seaside Course

Tee times from 1:20-1:50pm for up to 16 golfers

Sea Island’s most dramatic layout, Seaside is routinely ranked among the top 100 courses in the United States. Beautifully manicured fairways and greens, sweeping dunes mixed with native grasses, wildflowers, and bunkers. And a wind that creates a different golf experience daily. Seaside is an ocean-side links course that combines a beautiful natural setting with a golf course that is both challenging and fun. It’s tough to have a bad day on a course like this.

A Tom Fazio re-design of the 1929 classic by famous golf course architects Harry S. Colt and Charles Alison, today’s course ties the original Seaside with the old Marshside course, transforming two nines from “18 holes that didn’t match into 18 matchless holes,” according to Sea Island touring professional Davis Love III. Along with the Plantation Course, it is the home of the PGA TOUR’s RSM Classic, a FedEx cup event hosted by Love.

  • 90-minute Swedish Massage (limited number available-9)

2-Hour Group Shooting Lesson (2pm-4pm)

12-person max

Join us at the Shooting School for an afternoon of mastering the art of shooting a clay target. The instructors will guide you through the experience! Competitions are also available.

3-Hour Group Fishing Trip (2pm-5pm) 

8-person max

Join our boat captains on The Cloister Dock for an afternoon of fishing throughout the river and ocean. It is possible to catch whiting, founder, trout, redfish, ladyfish, jack crevalle, black drum, bull reds, and sharks!

2-Hour Group Guided Kayak Tour (2pm-4pm) 

6-person minimum

Join us on the Rainbow Island Dock for a nature kayak ride! Paddle up and down the river looking and learning about the nature that surrounds you.

Salt Marsh Nature & Dolphin Tour (3pm-4:30pm) 

12-person max

Join us at The Cloister Dock. Cruise through the tidal marshes to see numerous shorebirds, dolphins, and aquatic species. You will also learn the rich history surrounding our salt marshes.

Garden of the Gods

Looking for a new challenge in a new environment? Grab your family and experience the Vertical Challenge at The Broadmoor. Join your skilled climbing guide and spend time rock climbing at one of the local climbing hot spots Garden of the Gods. During this experience, you will learn basic knots, climbing safety, and belay techniques. Then, your guide will help you conquer one of our many challenging natural routes. This experience has been designed for the new climber or the climber who wants to transition from the indoor gym to real rock. All equipment is provided; all you need to bring is a sense of adventure and a willingness to have fun.

  • 5 Hour Guided Climb (door-to-door)
  • All guests will be required to sign a release

Gold Camp

Have you ever wondered what The Broadmoor looks like from a thousand feet above? A ride with spectacular vistas and a gradual downhill slope allows participants to enjoy all the natural beauty around them. After riding the historic Gold Camp Road, riders merge onto a classic single-track downhill. This ride is a perfect fit for one wanting to see a variety of Colorado’s terrain.

  • Minimum Height of 5’1” and Maximum weight of 250 lbs.
  • 3 Hour Guided Ride (door-to-door)
  • All guests will be required to sign a release

Broadmoor Hunt

Spouses/Partners Only 

The Broadmoor Hunt utilizes your phone’s camera and video functions in order to complete challenges around the hotel premises. Some of these challenges include taking a picture or video while some challenges require more interaction. Uncover the history that surrounds you as you follow clues and solve riddles that make The Broadmoor a unique functioning museum. The Broadmoor Hunt allows guests to challenge one another as individual teams or work together to accomplish the 35+ challenges spanning all corners of the resort. See what the competition is up to with a live feed leaderboard and real time feedback from Broadmoor Outfitters staff. This is the perfect way to explore the beauty and history that is The Broadmoor.

Can I participate in more than one activity, such as during my Saturday afternoon leisure time?

While those events will not be covered by Curi, we will gladly assist you in making arrangements.

 

Are child(ren) activities a covered expense?

Activities for children will not be covered; however, if you prefer to have expenses paid in advance by Curi and offset during the expense report process, that can be arranged.

 

Are there any onsite childcare options?

Sea Island offers Camp Cloister. Arrangements are not covered by Curi, but we will gladly assist in making reservation.
